On Friday June 14th, we flew to Minnesota after school and work for the weekend, to honor the life of Bill, Robert's step-father. Grandpa Bill or Papa Bill to the kids from Aurora on down was remembered with a gathering of almost all of his children and grandchildren. We were very glad to be there with Judy, and everyone else, for the weekend. The weekend was short, but filled with lots of airport fun (solar-powered cars and tornado shelters), cousin time (late night spades), board games (Werewords was a hit), pool time (Dave made an enormous splash off the water slide), and a quick trip to Culver's (Uncle Frank got his veteran's discount, and we all got our fix of cheese curds).
