Snowstorm!

On Friday, December 19th, we had a snowstorm--8.8 inches of snow between around 2:00 and midnight that night. I took Marcus out in the wrap at 2:00, when it just had started flurrying, and we looked at the flakes and people-watched and took a short walk and a bus ride home, just for fun. For more fun, on Saturday--with just a few more flurries falling in the morning--we bundled our baby up and took him up onto the roof to see his first real snow. Robert thought that Marcus's energetic arm-flailing would actually make perfect snow angels, but he did not take into account the fact that the snow jacket was a bit too bulky for Marcus to even move his arms once in it. So, below, enjoy some pictures from our foray--on go the snowpants and boots, then the jacket, then the hat, then outside! At first mummy-baby was a little confused (What is this "snow" you speak of?), but once we sat him up and he started sticking out his tongue to catch the flakes, he bounced right back. Then, back inside--we rested Marcus and his snowy boots and bottom in the bathroom sink to pull off his jacket, and then in his bassinet to tug off the snowpants. Fun, throughout!
